We want every guest to know exactly what to expect before booking. This page describes the physical realities of Woodland Chalet honestly, and our commitment to keeping this website usable for everyone.
The Property
Woodland Chalet is a multi-level mountain home, and candor matters more to us than marketing here:
- Steep driveway. The paved driveway is steep in both directions. In winter (November–March), 4WD/AWD or snow tires are strongly recommended.
- Stairs between levels. The home spans multiple levels connected by stairs, including the bedroom floors, the lower-level game and theater areas, and the pool house lounge above the pool. There is no elevator.
- Separate pool house. The indoor pool is in its own building, reached by a short outdoor walk from the main house.
- Lake access is a steep walk. The dock and lake access area are roughly a 10-minute walk or short drive away, and the path down to the water is steep.
Because of the terrain and layout, the property may not be suitable for guests with significant mobility challenges. We would rather tell you that plainly than have you discover it on arrival.
